Justin grew up in the Northern Virginia area where he attended W.T. Woodson High School. Justin attended James Madison University and then studied at the Reformed Theological Seminary [Orlando, FL], where he earned his M. Div degree. Before coming to New Life, he pastored at Coram Deo Fellowship [McLean, VA], Harvest [Orlando, FL], and at the Korean Presbyterian Church [Fairfax, VA]. When not at church, you may find Justin hanging out at a bookstore or jamming on his guitar in the sanctuary. His all time favorite thing to do is to spend time with his beautiful wife Virginia, and their two adorable kids, Tabitha and Barnabas.

John grew up in a military family where he had the opportunity to live in several different states as far west as Hawaii and as far east as New Jersey. John’s family finally settled in Washington in 1988 and has been here ever since. After graduating from high school, he attended the University of Washington graduating with a Economics degree. John went on to earn a M. Div at Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. His greatest joy is in his relationship with Christ Jesus and the privilege of loving his wife, Jenny and his two beautiful children, Minji and Minwoo. John is always up for a challenge in basketball, football, and thumb wrestling. John’s favorite hobby is washing dishes and vacuuming for his wife.

David, a native Washingtonian, is an emerging singer/songwriter and worship leader all around the country. He has traveled on 3 tours with indie artists Koo Chung and Jinny Kim. David is passionate about seeing a generation encounter God through worship. David is also an official Compassion International Music Artist where he seeks to utilize his talents to bring about global awareness to the needs of children in unfortunate circumstances. David is married to his beautiful Canadian wife who continually inspires him to numerous ways. Together they hope to pursue the call God has for their lives together in the arts.

Jane is a Washingtonian, who grew up in “Tacompton” (It’s really not too scary down south). She recently graduated from the University of Washington with an Economics degree. After graduating, she had the opportunity to go to Peru and Tunisia, where God really opened her heart to see His heart and desire for His people. Jane desires to see God’s Kingdom come and for His name to be known and praised among all peoples. She loves to bake and discover new places that have delicious foods and desserts. If it involves food or sweets, she’s there. Oh, and she always loves a good game night, especially if it involves Catan or Monopoly Deal.
